Putting our faith into Action

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me…Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” (Matthew 25:35-36, 40, NIV)

At Founders Metropolitan Community Church, we take to heart very seriously Jesus’ message for us: “whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers or sisters of mine, you did for me.” We strive to be the hands, feet and heart of Christ in this world and to that end we provide opportunities of outreach to help make a difference in the world around us (and even far away).

Founders MCC/ICM Fundadora continues to serve our siblings in Christ by holding “Church Outside the Walls.” This year has brought multiple opportunities to grow our ministry and share the message of God’s radically inclusive love for all. We have taken on the challenge of redefining what “going to church” looks like and will continue to seek out opportunities to expand the definition of church.
